Ransom was formed in
Paintsville, Kentucky in 1990 as a New Country/Classic Rock band. They
have performed at most of the clubs in the Kentucky/Virginia/West
Virginia tri-state area as well as many local festivals and events.
Their wide variety of music — covering everything from George Jones and
Tim McGraw to Pink Floyd and Deep Purple, plus some original tunes as
well — keeps them busy as much as 45 weeks out of the year.
